Almost two years at the Pernambuco State Health Department, on management systems covering the whole state network — finance, organisation and planning. PlanejaSUS, AvançaPRI, ParticipaPE, SIPAE, Sicor and GCSaúde. Fullstack, from gathering requirements to refactoring the legacy nobody wanted to touch.

Desktop in C and C++ with Qt on LEAF, an Industry 4.0 automation project. Today, .NET APIs for industrial automation: communication over OPC and OPC UA, event-driven architecture and millions of readings in time-series databases.

Two years on Calix, on an agile team of up to 12 devs, with engineering and design side by side. Front-end in Angular and TypeScript, taking accessibility and responsiveness seriously, and back-end in Python.

2023
Opportunity again, this time split into microservices with Spring Boot, Eureka for service discovery and a gateway handling authentication. The question was whether I could make it scale without turning it into a distributed mess.

A job board for UFPB Campus IV: students and professors sign in with their institutional email, and charts show who showed interest in which opening. Django, PostgreSQL, JWT and Docker.

A .NET API written with real DDD, not slide-deck DDD. Entity Framework, dynamic validation through FluentValidation, and Swagger for whoever consumes it.

A .NET MVC CRUD built to learn the framework properly: authentication, permissions per user level, and password recovery over SMTP. Nothing exotic, everything working.

Reimplementing the C standard library at 42 São Paulo. No garbage collector, no safety net — just malloc, free, and the consequences of getting it wrong.

AVAILABILITY
That is the kind of thing I enjoy. Back-end, integrating with legacy systems, APIs that have to hold under load, or an idea nobody has proven yet.
